Property for sale in Benalmádena.
Between Torremolinos and Fuengirola, with a large marina, long beaches, a train to the airport and a big community from the UK that lives here all year.
What Benalmádena is like.
Benalmádena is three places in one. Benalmádena Pueblo is the white village on the hill with the views and the quiet squares. Arroyo de la Miel is the working town in the middle, with the train station, the shops and most of the year-round life. Benalmádena Costa is the seafront, with Puerto Marina, the promenade and the beach bars.
It is one of the easiest places on the coast to live in without a car, because the train links Arroyo, Torremuelle and Carvajal to the airport and Málaga, and buses run along the seafront. There has been a British community here for decades, so English-speaking doctors, dentists, clubs and tradespeople are easy to find.
Where to look in Benalmádena
- Benalmádena Costa and Puerto Marina
Apartments on or near the seafront, many in large communities with pools. The marina has the restaurants and the boats.
- Arroyo de la Miel
The town centre: apartments close to the train, the market and the shops. Good value and the most Spanish part.
- Benalmádena Pueblo
The white village: townhouses and apartments with views, the cable car up Calamorro at the bottom of the hill.
- Torrequebrada and Torremuelle
Golf and the casino on one side, a quieter residential stretch with its own station and beach on the other.
- Higuerón and Carvajal
On the Fuengirola border: newer apartments on the hill with sea views, and the spa resort at Higuerón.
